ARS ELECTRONICA Exhibition „ERROR – The Art of Imperfection“

Over 600 invited guests opened the seventh digital media art exhibition on 16 November 2018 at the DRIVE. Volkswagen Group Forum Berlin to open the seventh digital media art exhibition. As always, the curator is our partner Ars Electronica, whom we had the pleasure of supporting again this year with the exhibition.

This year, 16 exhibits are on display, all dealing with the theme of “ERROR”. On the first weekend, 11,000 guests already visited the exhibition, which is open daily from 10.00 to 20.00 until 17 February 2019 and is accompanied by an extensive programme: Student workshops in the digital learning lab and curator tours allow deeper insights. Admission is free.

The media-artistic exhibits in this year’s exhibition show that failures and mistakes were and are often the origin of innovative inventions. The artists pose the question: “What if we no longer even recognise the deviation and don’t know whether we can tolerate it or not?” Audiences can expect digital LED stagings as well as moving robot and sound installations.
