Green Week 2019 – BMZ booth

Green Week 2019 - BMZ booth

As in previous years, there were a number of interactive stations at the BMZ booth. These included a multi-touch scanner table, which informed visitors about fair coffee cultivation and trade, and a new “scanner installation”.

“ONE WORLD without hunger is possible – with fair purchasing and fair production”: This was the motto of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) at the International Green Week in Berlin. From 19 to 28 January 2018, the BMZ held a varied trade fair program for visitors in Hall 5.2. At the opening of the fair, Development Minister Gerd Müller called on consumers, companies and civil society to fight against child labor.

As in previous years, there were a number of interactive stations at the booth of the BMZ. These included a multi-touch scanner table, which informed visitors about fair cultivation and trade of coffee, and a new “scanner installation”, where visitors could experience for themselves how quickly the monthly budget of an African family is used up to purchase the essential things for everyday life. Garamantis implemented the stations in proven cooperation with the agency SUPER on the Spree and Lagardère Event-Management.
